MANAGER OF EMERGENCY ROOM

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the growth of Departmental members.  This position manages daily operations to ensure that customers are satisfied and that their needs and expectations are met.  The Manager is responsible for designing and coordinate patient flow systems that provide for effective patient care.  The position also participates in achievement of financial goals, continuous quality improvement, and compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements, while supporting the mission, vision, values and strategic objectives of the medical center.

Requirements:

- California RN Licensure;
- BSN required, Masters in Nursing or related field, preferred;
- Minimum of two years clinical experience as an RN;
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience: able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Able to demonstrate leadership abilities and effective problem solving skills;
- Possesses personal attributes in harmony with the mission of the medical center;
- Has sufficient physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position,
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support -required
- 3-5 years experience is required
- Supervisory experience is required
