DIRECTOR, MATERNAL CHILD CARE

The Nursing Director is responsible for the overall management if the Perinatal and Pediatric Clinical areas ensuring quality outcomes. This includes the direction, coordination, planning and control of all activity within the division. The Nursing Director is also responsible for working with key managers and physicians in designing, developing, managing and marketing hospital services pertaining to women and children for maximum profitability. Education: Current CA RN license; Masters in Nursing or related field. BA of Science in Nursing; Certified in area of specialty preferred. Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as an RN and four years progressive Management experience. CCS criteria for NICU (2 years RN experience in level III NICU) preferred. Able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.  Strong Labor and Delivery experience required.  Must be outcomes oriented with a proven track record of accomplishments in the Maternal Child Areas.
